The power of nature explained… How the blooms all around us can heal and nurture your skin
It may sound cliché for a natural brand, but at Balance Me we really do believe in the power of nature. There are so many fantastic ingredients with amazing properties right on our doorstep, in our gardens and lining the paths of our local parks. We use only the best quality ingredients in our products and many of them come from different types of flowers. We love to get our blooms from Floom, which send flowers sourced from local florists. Read on for our favorite bunch…
The English Rose
Could anything be more quintessentially English than a rose garden? Delicate, beautiful and timeless, this flower has a wealth of skin benefits. Rose Absolute Blended for its exquisite fragrance and anti‑inflammatory, soothing and smoothing properties. It is also beneficial for treating broken capillaries and scarring. Rose Otto is the purest of rose oils and known as the queen of oils. It is usually extracted by gentle steam distillation from Rosa Damascena, the Damask Rose. It is an anti-inflammatory and has cooling and soothing properties, which help with stress-related conditions in more mature skin types. It is also excellent for treating broken capillaries and scarring.
Aurealis (bitter orange extract)
Detoxing and hydrating, Aurealis™ is extracted from Moroccan Bitter Orange Flowers. This sophisticated ingredient boosts the production of Hyaluronic Acid within the epidermis and also encourages the secretion of these newly formed molecules into the extra cellular matrix (the space surrounding our cells that also houses structural support proteins, such as collagen and initiates biochemical messages). It also smells amazing!
