Make-up artist top tips for skin confidence

During our #skinconfidence month, we’ve been thinking about the best ways to make sure you have great skin every day! We want to help those with dry, sensitive skin, find the best ways treat oily skin and what are the solutions for giving you a flawless complexion. In our hunt for the key to #skinconfidence we sought out expert advice for the people that work with skin constantly and know exactly how to make even the most tired model, or jet-lagged A-lister, look fresh and with lovely glowing skin!

We’ve put together a selection of quotes from fabulous make-up artists and therapists on their favourite Balance Me skin solutions:

Radiance Face oil; “When my skin is really stressed or when working on models I like to use the Radiance Facial Oil as a treatment to really boost moisture. Spend a few minutes massaging in, working in upward strokes from the jawline. An other option is add a drop to moisturiser to create a super luxury über moisturiser." Georgina Graham, top celebrity make-up artist.

Super Moisturising Hand Cream; With shea butter and geranium and lavender oils, skin is left soft and sweet-smelling. It’s great for elbows, feet and dry patches too." Manicurist Toni Jade treats her clients Claudia Schiffer, Gwyneth Paltrow and Stella McCartney to Balance Me’s super moisturising hand cream.

Cleanse and Smooth Balm; "A lot of people are scared of using oils or balms to cleanse with but once you try it, you won't use wipes or any other cleanser. Make-up literally melts away and skin is left feeling supple, a bonus for dry skin." Salina Thind, make-up artists and beauty editor

Skin Bright Hydrating Face Mist; "If you have a party after work and only a few minutes to get ready, spritz a foundation buffing brush with some Skin Bright Hydrating Face Mist and work it over your exiting foundation. This will freshen the base up and re-awaken your complexion without needing to take it off and start again." Rebecca McMahon, make-up artist
