Winter to Spring, we love the change in seasons and so should our skin. Find out how industry expert, Zoe Rusling refreshes her own beauty routine.

Do you change anything in your skincare routine moving from winter to spring?
I often use a slightly lighter moisturiser for the summer (I don’t like anything that feels too heavy or thick in the heat), I love the Balance Me Balancing Face Moisturiser and I always make sure I use my SPF religiously (I can be a bit naughty with this in the winter). I also love a facial spray for the spring and summer - makes me feel fresher and more hydrated in the heat.
How do you deal with all the sugary treats over Easter?
I try and always eat dark chocolate and focus on honey and maple syrup for the sweet yummy treats. I also find if I do over indulge I then make sure I take digestive enzymes and probiotics to help my system deal with it all, and then lots of herbal tea to keep hydrated and aid digestion too.
What’s your favourite spring make-up look?
I love a slightly light skin look - nothing too shiny but highlighted on the cheekbones - with a pretty eye shadow and neutral lip. And on days when I feel I need a lift then a bright lip and some gorgeous colour, a coral red lip or fuschia, something gorgeously uplifting. Stella Beauty Balm is my go-to lip saviour!
We are starting to get worried about our bikini bodies, what’s your top tip for body confidence?
I always try and not be too hard on myself.my body has given me two healthy children and seems to be healthy enough still so I try to focus on the positives. When the bikini season beckons though I do try to do more body brushing and cut out as much sugar and caffeine as I can, and I do love running and swimming so make sure I work out a few times a week. Last summer I discovered swimming in our local and very cold lido - but it is amazing at shrinking fat and stimulating the system so I will start doing that again each week once it is late Spring, the water is still too chilly now!
How can we achieve fresh, spring-like just-out-of-a-facial skin at home?
Spend time on cleansing properly and I love an at home peel and then a mask. I do it all in the bath as the steam from the bath water opens the pores and helps the products to work. And also you are more relaxed. Then a gorgeous facial spritz to achieve glowing skin.
