Easy Homemade Granola Recipe

Easy Homemade Granola Recipe

Posted by Rebecca Hopkins on

This easy homemade granola recipe is super quick and easy. It’s a recipe that our co-founder Clare makes with her children weekly and has been a staple in her home for years.

We always prioritise breakfast especially when we need to boost our immune system, and this make ahead granola is perfect for busy weeks and slow weekends.

Serve with milk of your choice or yoghurt and make it your own with your favourite chopped fresh fruit. It’s even great as a mid-morning snack.

Follow the recipe below, and adjust the ingredients depending on what you have available in your cupboard. No exact measurements here either, just experiment!

Step 1: Mix whole oats, rye, wheat and barley flakes together and pour into a baking tray so its an even layer.

Step 2: Drizzle over honey.

Step 3: Pop into a preheated over at 180degrees for 20mins. Turn tray and stir half way through cooking.

Step 4: Pour out of tin immediately into a cool heatproof bowl and allow to cool.

Step 5: Mix in chopped nuts, seeds and dried fruits. Almonds, walnuts, brazil nuts, pistachios, sultanas, apricots and pumpkin seeds are favourites of ours.

Step 6: Serve with yoghurt and chopped fruit
