Our customers are at the heart of Balance Me and as the E Commerce Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering our brand message across all customer touchpoints and making a huge impact on our bottom line.

THE ROLE

The E-Commerce Executive will be the operational point of contact for the end-to-end e-commerce side of the brand. You’ll work closely with the marketing, operational and senior teams to ensure our website offers an excellent end user digital experience as well as maximizing sales. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the website, ensuring the accurate display of product information, promotions and all assets across the site to support digital marketing and communications strategies. This role is ideal for an individual with proven experience in online retail, and a strong appetite for supporting in the delivery of an ambitious digital growth strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

  • Trade the website to maximise revenue potential.
  • Plan and manage website content including homepage, category cross-sell, blog posts etc.
  • Actively merchandise the site - track inventory levels, best sellers, slow movers etc. and use Google Analytics to merchandise the website accordingly.
  • Manage website promotions, loyalty program, site search and other tools to drive sales.
  • Optimise website for organic search, including metadata, content management, internal linking, etc.
  • Responsible for all products, categories and pages on-site to accurately display correct information, links and images on the website across different currencies.
  • Actively merchandise the site - track inventory levels, best sellers, slow movers etc. and use Google Analytics to merchandise the website accordingly.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to drive sales.
  • Prepare website categories for sale, new products, blog posts and marketing campaigns.
  • Continually optimise the user journey for Balance Me's global customer base.
  • Analyse site metrics and take necessary action to continually improve performance.
  • Prepare website categories for sale, new products, blog posts and marketing campaigns.
  • Liaise with relevant internal departments to collate product information in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the marketing and commercial teams to support in developing a strong email marketing plan.
  • Stay up-to-date with current and new Klaviyo features to support the email marketing strategy.
  • Day-to-day management of Klaviyo, including scheduling email campaigns, updating flows, creating sign-up forms etc.
  • Analyse and report on email marketing performance and identify opportunities to improve.
  • Supporting and contributing to Balance Me’s philanthropic activities e.g. volunteering programmes and fundraising initiatives.
  • Taking advantage of and ownership for any relevant professional development and/or training opportunities.
  • Demonstrating a personal and professional commitment to reducing the Company’s environmental impact and contributing to continually improving Balance Me’s environmental performance.
  • Ensuring the implementation of good environmental practices whilst working in the office and at home, in the following specific areas: alternative transportation, paper, energy, office supplies and equipment and maintenance.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • 2+ years of previous related e-commerce experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of growing sales online.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics.
  • Proficient in Big Commerce and Klaviyo would be an advantage.
  • GDPR savvy
  • Analytical and always focused on delivering strong commercial outcomes.
  • Pro-active and hands on approach with willingness to show initiative.
  • Flexible, team player.
