Operations Executive

We are recruiting for a full time, experienced Operations Executive responsible for supply chain, stock planning, and ordering, processing wholesale orders and supporting the Operations Team with New Projects. This role reports into one of the Founders who heads up Operations.

Person Specification The candidate will have 3+ years’ experience in a similar role with excellent IT, Excel and system skills; the ability to manage multiple priorities; highly numerate, have good attention to detail and be a strong team player. We are a small and dynamic team so a proactive and adaptable approach is absolutely key.

Key Responsibilities


  • Stock control and forecasting - making stock order recommendations for replenishment orders, creating and updating reports that are required by the business.
  • Sourcing and Placing production purchase orders for products, packaging, special projects, new launches.
  • Managing relationships with suppliers and acting as key point of contact.
  • Critical path management - tracking orders and expediting where needed
  • Stock Management - Receipting stock, liaising with the Warehouse to ensure stock aligns.
  • Organizing freight – knowledge of shipping internationally would be useful but not essential
  • Dealing with stock/production problems/QC componentry issues/reviewing wastage levels
  • Product data set up and file maintenance of product SKUs, prices, barcodes etc


  • Placing all wholesale orders onto SAP within the agreed KPIs
  • Managing the communication with the warehouse to ensure the orders are picked, packed and dispatched in the required timelines
  • Communicating with the customer and the commercial team to keep them updated with order progress, issues and any other order/stock related points
  • Creating order reports – forward and historical tracking – to allow commercial to see up to date status
  • Arranging freight requests for international customers and ensuring necessary documentation is in place for shipment
  • Creating any additional sales/commercial reports that are required by the business

  • Strong communication skills, in particular excellent verbal communication, must be comfortable picking up the phone and liaising with suppliers
  • Team player, recognising we are a small team so must be willing to work on the detail as well as the high level and not be phased by challenges
  • Proactive, ‘can do attitude’ and flexible approach
  • An ability to work independently and drive process improvements
  • Excellent IT skills particularly Excel and ERP Systems (ideally SAP Business One)
  • Previous B2B experience in retail environment

Location: Office is based in London Bankside, nearest underground stations are London Bridge and Borough. Staff are currently working remotely.
