In honour of World Health Day, we want to talk about our planet. The World Health Organisation (WHO) are spotlighting on the urgent actions needed to keep humans and the planet healthy, which we are fully behind. WHO estimates that more than 13 million deaths around the world each year are due to avoidable environmental causes. “This includes the climate crisis which is the single biggest health threat facing humanity. The climate crisis is also a health crisis.”
So, what can we do to help? We’re on a journey to close the loop on all our packaging, to extend its life and keep it out of oceans and landfill. Remember, small steps = giant leaps when we all work together. We use simple, effective packaging and are on a journey of making mindful milestones…
We are passionate about the environment. We are proud that more than 92% of our packaging is recyclable, renewable, contains recycled materials and/or is reusable. Our commitment is to increase this to over 96% of all packaging we order by the end of 2022. Our decorative cartons and web boxes use FSC paper, a minimum of half the plastic in our tubes and full-size bottles is from recycled plastic (as we speak where possible we are increasing this to 100%) and our web parcels contain dissolvable corn chips.
