The Benefits of Dry Body Brushing

Want smooth, glowing skin? This is your solution for the ultimate summer body prep!

Co-Founders Clare and Rebecca have sworn by the art of body brushing for years, and it’s part of their daily beauty routines. Here’s why

  1. It removes dead skin cells for smooth, soft limbs
  2. It boosts circulation
  3. It stimulates lymphatic drainage, to help rid toxins
  4. Your bodycare can work harder, if the skin is smoother and less clogged

A lot of people dread the process and expect it to be a laborious, painful task. It’s not.

We prefer to do it in the morning as it helps wake us up. While naked, we start at our feet and, brushing in an upwards motion, head up towards the heart. What makes our Body Brushes unique is they come in a pair, and this makes the whole process quicker and easier. Really focus on long, upwards strokes and circular motions, paying particular attention to areas prone to cellulite.

Our new Vegan Body Brushes

Follow this with our Super Firming Body Oil. One of our first products, Clare created this award-winning oil to firm, smooth, tone and encourage good circulation. Rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants, our blend also contains naturally purifying and tonifying Juniper, Bergamot, Macadmia and Geranium. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, then we recommend our Super Moisturising Body Oil. Warm a few drops of oil between your palms and massage firmly into your skin until absorbed, concentrating on dry patches or stretch marks. Again, spend a bit of time really massaging the oil in to further boost circulation and lymphatic drainage.
